You guys probably have guessed it by know, but I never told my mom about this site. (obviously, it DOEShas potty mouth words) But, being the snoop she has become since I expressed how much I hate LHS, she found out about the site and looked at it. oh goody. Here comes a big lecture about stuff that isnt really important, right? Well, no. My mom was actually cool about something. She just told me "I saw your site, and it looks like you've worked really hard on it. I hope you're proud of it." Of course, she also added in "It's sad that you did put that much effort into it though."
First of all, shit yes I'm proud of this site. I made it origionally just for fun, because I really had nothing better to do and I wanted to put my opinions out in the "mainstream" by getting free webspace from tripod. My mom's like "Do you know that anyone can read it?" umm, isn't that the point of the web? besides, I've only had 85 visitors at the time of this article, so I'm not to worried about my site being viewed by anybody. Of course, I'm also expecting a call from the President sooner or later.
Here's another phrase I've heard rather more than I'd like "It's offensive." I'm not really sure how many times people have said this to me. I think maybe like 5 times. So I tell them what I tell everybody "hey, thats your opinion. You don't like my opinion, then dont look at my site." Whats interesting about these kind of people is that they insist on coming back. and they just keep telling me how offensive I'm being. Ok kids, this isn't www.FaganNation.com (yet), so I'm not too worried about protestors setting up camp outside my house until I took down my devil site. Even though that would be badass cause I wouldnt feed them and I'd chuck stones at them and stuff.
I expect people who visit my site to be mature about it, to read my opinions on things, and either accept them or deny them. Of course, I also expect people to be entertained on my site, as that was it's origional intention. I know I'll never be as big as say, Maddox, but I know, from the little controversy that this site has created, that it does have potential. So thats why I'm not going to one day decide to just stop updating it. I'm going to do my best to add new stuff whenever I can because I have a very small fan base and the only way to create a bigger fan base is to expand and bring in fresh material as often as possible.
So thats it. This site isnt going down. Chew on that.
